We take a comprehensive, holistic approach to dog training in order to achieve lasting results. We will not only use positive reinforcement to teach and fortify good behaviors, we will also appropriately address problem behaviors to provide for our dogs a full picture of our expectations for them.
Beginning with a free consultation, we will evaluate your dog’s personality, discuss behavioral concerns, and lay out both short and long-term goals. Based on this information, we can choose the training approach and program best suited for you and your dog.
Board and Train
Starting at $650
During a Board and Train program, your dog will stay with me in my home—not in a kennel. This immersive program allows for relatively quick results while your dog gets practice in everyday situations within a real home environment, making the transition back to your home simple for both you and your dog. A Board and Train is individualized to focus on you and your dog’s specific needs, but every Board and Train includes the following commands:
Heel
Sit
Down
Stay
Longer or custom programs can include additional commands, advanced commands, housebreaking, and countless other opportunities for individualized help.
In addition to obedience commands, during a Board and Train your dog will learn basic house manners, such as not rushing doorways or jumping on counters. Socialization in public, including exposure to other dogs, is also emphasized.
Following a Board and Train, we will work with you to teach you how to use the training at home. Follow-up support in lessons or by phone is unlimited and included in the cost of your Board and Train.
Private Lessons
$75
Private Lessons are individual, one-on-one sessions with both you and your dog. Private lessons can take place at your home, at my home, or in public—at a park or pet store.
Private Lessons can can be weekly, bi-weekly, or whatever works best for you. Private Lessons usually last one hour. You do not have to buy a package or a bundle. You can do as many or as few as you need.
Private Lessons are often a good option for dogs and owners that already have a training foundation, but just need a little help. Owners who have a lot of time to devote to training each day may also opt for Private Lessons.
